Schedule a Furniture Donation Pickup Today

The Chicago Furniture Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as an intermediary between Chicagoans who have extra furniture and those who need it. In coordination with our sister nonprofit Honest Junk Company, we work to ensure your donations end up in the hands of our clients for free, all with the help of our 400+ nonprofit partners.

Schedule a pickup with us for your furniture donation and know that you’re helping break the cycle of furniture poverty by transforming an empty house into a home. Please see the donation criteria below to determine if your items would be better suited for CFB or Honest Junk Company.

We also take drop offs!

Two FUrniture Pickup Services:

Chicago Furniture Bank and Honest Junk Company

Chicago Furniture Bank will pick up high quality and essential furniture pieces to turn an empty house into a home. Scroll down to see what furniture we accept.

Pickups require at least a week to schedule and flexible timing based on our trucks availability.

Pricing is determined by a "suggested donation" between $100-$600 based on the size of the pickup. Your donations allow the Chicago Furniture Bank to give furniture away for free.

Charitable contribution tax receipts for all furniture picked up and your suggested donation are provided.

Honest Junk will pick up everything and anything from both residential and corporate projects and distribute all usable items to various charity partners.

Items can be picked up within 48 hours of scheduling an appointment.

Pricing is set based on the amount of space the items take up on the truck. All revenue generated by Honest Junk goes to funding the Chicago Furniture Bank’s mission!

Charitable contribution receipts are given for all items picked up as well as 80% of the removal fee.

Our Movers are Bonded & Insured!
